Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Shan grew up in the small town of Bushmills, famed for its legendary whiskey.
After obtaining a law degree from the prestigious Durham University in the UK, his travels took him to the USA, New Zealand and Japan, before settling into the media scene in Singapore.
Following a long spell working as a radio DJ with Mediacorp station 987FM, he is now a DJ with KISS92fm.
Shan has hosted various TV shows including 'Singha Football Crazy' on Fox Sports.
He is a published author having produced the crime fiction novel, “The Short Life of Raven Monroe”.
